1. Do you sing, play an instrument or instruments? I am a drummer, first and foremost. I can play conga, djembe, bongo and other percussion instruments also.... I can play a bit of guitar...(12 months of lessons). Singing....hahaha you dont want me to sing... 2. Are you in a band or bands? The main touring band is Byron Bay based Reggae group.... The Wandering Eyes. Playing small festivals and medium sized venues Im also doing tours and one off gigs with a acoustic blues trio and playing regular jazz gigs... I regularly do studio session work at my studio or at local studios 3. Do you write songs? yes i do write..... i have written a few of my own, write lyrics (a little bit of prose). and work on arrangments with the bands i am in. 4. Do you record your music? I currently run Cubase 5, but i have looked into studio1 which is presonus's DAW... (not bad). 5. What other roles do you perform in the music business? im half way through a marketing/digital marketing degree due for completion late next year....currently working on marketing plans for clients of a music video production company and marketing plans and communications strategies for songwriters. 6. Are you a tech head? no 7. What country do you live in? Australia 8. What are your ambitions? Id really love to make my online drum recording business as successful as my local service 9. Do you draw/paint/write stories/computer art/dance or other creative pursuit? no 10. What would you like to get out of Songstuff? id love to meet songwriters who would be interested in my drum recording services, that said i am always wanting to learn more in regards to songwriting and arrangment to better improve myself and what i can provide to my clients.
