Share your current music project! Anything from a simple melody, a 1+1, beat boxing, through to a full production. Be as experimental as you want.

Welcome to Songstuff, Ivory House. What do you do to promote your music and yourself as an artist?
Update: I moved your post on the New Music Friday Topic to your Introduction topic for a couple of reasons. Being a new member, it's cool to have some of your music on the Introduction board when you are introducing yourself to the other members. Also, your songs are completed songs and the New Music Friday Topics are on the Critique Songs board and are for Works In Progress.
We have a Showcase board for completed songs that you might be interested in (it's not a Critique board). This board is to boost listeners for members and to show off the great work of our community.
And then there's the Music Lounge for overall listening and conversation.

It would be fun to have you join in on New Music Friday topics with your new ideas and works in progress.

Hi Patricia,
Welcome to Songstuff. Here is the link to the Critique boards that you might be interested in.

And today is Friday, so if you really want to jump in, we have New Music Friday #24 You can find the topic in the Songs Critique board (from link above - Lyric Critique board is there, too.)
If interested this is for Collaboration.

Looking for something or if you have questions, just ask. See you around the boards.

If he addresses just a few of the fake followers, likes, and accounts it would be a step in the right direction.
More parity in moderation would also be helpful. It opens the door to people that haven't wanted to use the platform because of the imbalance. That in itself could start a whole new wave of listeners and artists joining.

As a musician/artist/marketing on Twitter, what do you see are the Pro's and Cons of the purchase? What changes would you like to see made that could improve your presence, reach, marketing and promotion?
Here are some of the issues that he has been talking about over the years (I'm sure there a many others):
- Adding an Edit button
- Removing spam bots and scams
- loosening content moderation
- Algorithms being open source
- Focus on subscription revenue (he hates Twitter ads)
AND... he loves music and he moves fast ….

Thanks for the welcome I'm sure I'll have many questions. Trying to learn to navigate the site. Was primarily interested in collaboration with musicians to complete my lyrics, and the same in return. Can't seem to find where that might be. Martin
I'll put the link here, too.

I wonder what people here think about software like Magix Music Maker or eJay?
I don't know anything about the two but if you like working with them and they are giving you the ability to create music then I have to say that's a plus. Hooe you can share some of the things you've been working on when you're ready.

Listening to Durell Anthony's new release Be With U. Durell was on The Voice, is from my hometown and a nephew of one of my long time friends and music buds. There is alot of talent in that family!

Depends on the application of the four fair use factors.

Good luck on your release!

I plan to re-absorb the off-topic board into the musicians lounge and re-title as musician’s lounge. I also plan to prepare for combining draft song critique with song critique.
I think these 2 changes are good ones. Still thinking that reducing the number of images on home page would help. 😏

Yay, I just saw that on the news. Such sad news.

I'm supposing he has a fairly good list in progress (or on hold) .. it could be on it
