    Hey neoism are you from india?

    Well there is this one indian instrument that I think is really cool. It's called a sitar... it'd be a neat thing to have :) How much do you think that'd cost buying it online?

    yeah.....in india we have a very similar instrument....but the only difference is, it has only one string....it is called "ravanhatta"......

    maybe you can ask "annec" when she'd be back from her trip to india....coz where she'd be visiting, this instrument is used frequently....it is mostly used in folk dance.....

    although i couldn't fing any image of it......but imagine "Erhu" with one string......:)

    NO WAY! I have this one instrument that is one string that you play like a cello i've been trying to figure out the name of it! or where it was from. It has like a horse/dragon on the top of it. Yes I finally know the name of it!

    I always used to write that way. I'd work out what it meant afterwards and call it art.

    Lol that's a funny way of looking at it. That's kind of the way I thought. I'll post my "have no idea" song in a day or two and see what people think...

    Guys! Please do NOT post up lyrics of the people you like! It could get us into all kinds of legal trouble! If you want to illustrate a lyric, place a link to it elsewhere! Unless you have the express written permission to post a lyric from the author or publisher, you do not have the right to publish it here. I would hate to see this site closed down for copyright infringement!

    Lol Timothy have you heard Linkin Park's song We Made It with Busta Rhymes, I Actually really like it :)

    Yes I did actually. The music video felt like a preview for a movie, quite dramatic. It was very catchy, I loved the piano parts. It was better than I expected (wasn't actually expecting much). I'm trying to keep low expectations when a new linkin park song comes out. Chester's voice edit took me awhile to get use to.

    I never really learned about what music theory is. I never really read any piano books I just learned enough to know what the notes were. When I write music I unintentionly use the full 5 octaves on my keyboard. It seems to make the song less repetitive and even if it's a slow piece it can still go through the octaves alot :) Not that staying in the same basic area is a bad thing.... most of the songs I listen to are like that (atleast I think). I've never heard of Instrumentalist before. It's a cool word... does it mean a musician that just makes music without singing or lyrics? If so that's probably what i'd be called. Not all songs can be this way but if I can I like to have songs that don't have a main melody. It's all equally distrubuted into the song making the whole song the main part. I usually just goof around on it until I find something that works. Probably the hardest thing for me is making chords that make it less repetitive and add depth. Thankfully I know someone that makes music as well. We think about music differently so we make a good team :)

    but Tim...i'd like to say that these lyrics are not only written by MS...it has contribution of chester { chasterchaze lyrics} and Zomba lyrics along with Mr. Hahn....i totally agree with you that they've got the best lyrics...LP rocks...

    True but most of the lyrics are written by Mike Shinoda. It seems like chester's lyrics have almost a distinct difference, I can't really explain it though. Who are what is zomba??

    yeah...this has been a big question for me....i really get confused when selecting a title...

    so last time i had this crazy idea...giving a title which has no connection with the lyrics....and thats why last lyrics name is "teaspoon of phenomena"....lol

    I don't like titles that have nothing to do with the song. Cause it makes me check out the lyric or song and then I get dissapointed cause the song doesn't live up to the title :( If you have a name like "Majestic Wonderland" (just as an example) you expect something amazing. I also like really unique titles that you can find easily. If you use a title like "I Miss You" or "I'll Always Love You" you're gonna get mixed up with other songs...

    Have you ever wrote a lyric and when you were finally finished you read it back and had no clue what you were trying to say?? I did that once and i'm just really confused. I still kind of like it but I don't know what was going on in my mind when I was writing it... Anyone else do that before?

    Yeah Grey Daze is actually one of my favorite bands :) Goes to show that chester still sounded great when he was young. I don't think chester sounded better or worse in grey daze, it's just completely different but that's why I like it.

    I know what you mean, I heard this one piano piece that's rare and only had one video for it on youtube. For some reason it got deleted :( The song wasn't even named either...
