  2. I would do theme one based on music of the world going to different parts of the world and recording what the locals play country roots type stuff Regional. What is the native song and styles of the Eskimo or natives in the amazon or Remote parts of Mongolia Places like that and also western style Roots
  3. The past 5 months I have been struggling with writing a Blues in 3/2 time. and not have it sound polka or ragga or samba. So if any one knows of an example of 3 beat Blues let me know Please.
  4. Well for the last 6 months I am Having trouble comeing up with Good Lyrics to some of my more complicated songs. mabie I was focusing on the Chord progresions too much, or it could be I need to focus on what I want to say in the Lyrics and Make the Music work with it
  5. Many of the songs I have written are made with the whole effect in mind. Be it a 3 chord Folk type or A 5 chord Counter point. Im not as good as John Denver or Paul Simon, but I do ok.
  6. John Denver He was the only POP Folk Country wrighter that could yodel a Lyric in a song. next would be Paul Simon
  7. This is something I have been trying get a answer to on other forums I am looking for examples of Blues songs in a 3/2 Beat where their is only three beats to a measure no rests. I know of other style that use the 3/2 time.Because I am going to attempt doing a Blues in 3/2 and a few examples would be nice.

  9. BassBoy It sounds like a good endeavor BUT I WOULD TRY AND gET gUITAR pLAYERS THAT DO THIER lOCAL STYLES RATHER THEN LETS SAY SOMEone from Egypt doing rockabilly Darn caps lock
  10. I myself get a lot of beat's inspiration form Things I hear in life weather its a conga riff or a Train going past even from Animals or How wind sounds. Then I try and Get The Beat down On a Guitar, I don't own a Drum yet But it reminds me to Buy some sticks. Oh What about abstract syncopation
