Heyy! My birthday was good, I was at a hockey tournament...We got silver! Well, mostly I've been playing and school, and hockey, and hanging out with friends...Like no writing at all And I haven't considered writing lyrics for them...hmmm Well, yeah...I recorded a song that a friend wrote the other day...Three of us played...We used my digital recorder (B-R 600) that I got for christmas! Yeah...I'm writing a song, and I don't know how to go from the chorus back to the verse... I got a riff for after the chorus, but it doesn't flow into the verses...So should I just have a second of silence and restart the verses? Please help me? lol Rob

Please please help! It would be appreciated! I am going to send some of my lyrics to a person to see if she likes them, one or something...And if she does, she'll probably write the melody and stuff...She's an amazing singer. I don't know what lyrics to send...I'm thinking of sending Tainted Blue...I don't have a clue what to send...So if anyone can give me suggestions on some of my better lyrics, please tell me what ones...Thank you! Yeah...First I'll explain how come I wrote that song for no reason at all...In school we have to write a found poem about WW1...and I wanted to write a normal poem, so I wrote a song about it...Now I gotta write a found poem... as for topics...Love ( ), Poverty, I could try to tell a random story, i dont know, lol... This can be directed towards everything...but, mine involves this progression, i use powerchords for this(sadly )...I don't like powerchords a lot, over-used...I'm trying to stay away from them now... (i dont know what i capitalizes...but you can figure it out...) Haha, yeah, thanks, I only sing for a laugh though, me and my friend made 4 songs and recorded them on a cd for a laugh, we didnt have any music so its pretty funny, but im just wonderin if i will get good, cause it would be cool to be able to sing stuff i write good and yeah, ive been singing since i was like 5, but was never good lol later on

Is singing a gift you get from birth? Can you either sing or not sing? Or can you get really good by practice even if you stink at first?
