  1. If I bought a mixer, would I still need one of the below? (MI4) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...item=7385077785 Would the microphone just go into the mixing desk, and then into the computer?
  2. CAN ANYONE RECOMMEND A GOOD KEYBOARD TO USE WITH CUEBASE? I DON'T WANNA SPEND ANYMORE THAN 300 POUNDS!!!!
  3. OOOHHHH so I don't actually need a mixer!!! I thought I did!!! Does it not benefit at all having one as well as using cuebase? If I was to record live guitars, where, and how, would I plug them in? Will the micophone plug into the mic input on the computer? Or does the midi interface do both of these?
  4. DOES THIS LIST LOOK LIKE WHAT I NEED TO START WITH, OR IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE?!!!
  5. IS THERE ANYWHERE IN THE UK THAT STOCK THIS? (CUEBASE + MI4)
  6. Ok, I have made a decision. I've spent the last few days looking at what laptop would be best for me. I was adimant I wanted a laptop. But what is the point paying all this money when I can actually get a desktop computer that will do much more than a laptop, and cost me much less!!! I only wanted a laptop cos I thought it would be "cooler!" Whatever I end up buying will not leave my desk in my studio, so whats the point paying more. This was I will have much more money to spend on everything else I need!!!
  7. So if I buy cuebase with the MI4 it does the same? What kind of mixer will I need? Do you have any good examples so I know what to look out for?
  8. Actually, looking at the price of the Digidesign Digi 002, that would take up a lot of my budget!!! I'll keep looking for a different mixer!!!

  20. AAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR I didn't realise it was so complicated!!!! The honest anser is, I don't know!!!!!!!! The last time I used Cuebase was when I was doing my A level Music Tech course about 8 years ago!!! We did use midi then, but sometimes the music didn't sound very good, maybe it was just me!!!!! I was able to program or sequence music into Cuebase just using the mouse. I know that takes time, but sometimes it useful to be able to do! But to be honest, I really don't know what I am doing, or where to start!!!!!!!!
  21. Your right John. If you ever get chance to listen to his latest album, "How The Mighty Fall," make sure you do. I was really surprised. Listening to the album really got me back into writing again!!!!
