oh my god, it's a daughter

I hate to think that boys will court her

will they be lambs to the slaughter

victims of  boxing I have taught her

should I be a more liberal dad

and suffer silently

instead of protecting her violently

because then she might end up sad

I know what I will do

I will teach her some kung fu

so why didn't I learn it earlier

and she might want ballet, its much more girlier

and what games will I have to play

dolls and ponies all the day?

I can deal with that just about

as long as my mates don't find out

and when she has a wedding day

I wonder how much i'll have to pay?

'til then she's in her mothers arms

displaying different sorts of charms

that's enough for now I reckon

its years before fashion beckons

and when it does, its irrefutable

whatever she wears, she'll be beautiful

naw, its not mine. a band mate has just had a little girl. only just brought her home tho cos she is underweight and premature.
