Album Cover? What Do You Think?

Hi All,

After 20 years of playing and still not sounding like Page - I decided to combine it with my sencond favourite love and make album covers - heres my first work and I would love any feed back you may have - wouldl be a great help

The idea is great - but I'd cut the loose ends off first - they kinda was in the way for no particular reason. Also it was very hard to read the web address - I'd use a higher contrast color and probably put it lower down. The message is, after all, the whole idea of the cover - art coming second.

this is interesting - becasue a friend of mine reckons its not original - but i challeneged him to show me the 'original' and he could'nt. I think its beaucse its a classic 'look' - cheers

nice pic, though I have seen headstock end-on pictures like this, in fact I have some of my own.

your pic is a lot better than mine tho!

right now your image is a photo, not really a complete cover. do you have any full cover mock ups? (i guess the text on the pic is just a watermark)

It is nice. I'd second the suggestions you had above--put the Website in a contrasting color (black, I think) and put it lower down so it wasn't over the photo. I think I'd make the font smaller, too. I assume you're going to add album title and your name up top; you don't want the Website to distract people's attention.

Thje lolpy strings aren't bad, in my opinion. They suggest the guy who owns the guitar might be human, or something. Always a good impression to give.

i think the photo is fine, it's just now a cover graphic yet. if the web address isn't some sort of watermark then there are problems lol

Well this could use a album cover but there are still some elements missing.

The finishing touches and the band name.
