Is there a special process to becoming an artist member at songstuff?

Hi Tom

No special process, because there is no site membership scheme yet, only for the boards. We will be adding a free site membership in the future, mainly coz it make admin of artist services easier, but currently if you want added to the ad rotation, or the artist links, just mail us the appropriate info or graphics and we'll add you. Simple as that.

One of the new features we will be adding when we have an artist membership is the artists page where you willl be able to add news and links etc. In addition we will make some articles and reference material available for members only. Meanwhile everything is available for all.

Songstuff is run by musicians for musicians, all contributions (in terms of articles, glossary items etc) are very welcome. We currently make no money from this site, we do it because it's good to help. That's all.

For this reason, and because running a site this size isn't cheap, we don't have any audio hosting. If we can work out a way to do it, we will.

I fully understand John, and to be truthful I'm not looking for an audio hosting site. I've been through the OMD scene (had enough of that) and I'm really looking for something different now that I have my own site.

I guess I'm looking for a place to expose myself (<---geez, that doesn't sound right) and what I do, but at the same time interact and learn from others.

As far as being put in some sort of a rotation, I would like that, but don't really know how to go about it at this point. I'll simply hang around and learn more about this place for now.
