I know it is easy to mix up critique with criticism.. but really the point in critique is to help you, and it generally comes from the heart too. It can be hard to offer critique if the reviewer is unsure how honesty will be received. I understand it can be upsetting, but at the end of the day all that is offered is an opinion... If you are concerned about getting critiques, then you'll really benefit from giving them in my opinion. It's a valuable tool for songwriters but I'm thinking giving critique is also a great way to learn how to both give and take critique constructively. Just my two cents worth
