Yup, it won't win any prizes as to 'restrained' production, but that was the best way to lose the tepidness of the original.

I would also advice Thom to cherry pick the first and last track whenever he uses it to get new gigs. Those are the best of the bunch.

Also, maybe let the soundguy hear the CD to show him what kind of sound you of expect from him next time, (preferably all the way in the back) so there won't be any repeats.

I have to agree on the tracks we (The Band) had a discusion on this today and our drummer pointed out a destinct lack of mic's with the drums and none to pick up the crowd

anyhow its loads better now
