I think the services of some pr companies are defo worth looking into.... unless you have the contacts of coarse. In my experience.... you can get great deals with a bit of bargaining and get your music the much needed boost it needs. As with everything...research is the key....

That said there are lots and lots of things you can do at home to improve things.... from making sure u appear in google searches to contacting online radio stations that will play demo tracks. in this case networking is important.

Facebook is a valuable tool.. but be aware... no one wants to see unprofessional messages.... spam... and the like. It will result in being ignored.... and valuable contacts not made.

I agree with johns post above... with a bit of drive and determination... anythings possible. :)
