I'll start by saying that I'm not a songwriter, but I signed up here as I'm currently looking for songwriters on behalf of my client, who has appeared on American Idol, and is aiming to put an album together in the near future.

I agree with Tunesmithh, I am sure we will have members who would be interested. What sort of deal are we talking? Standard writer agreements?

You may not want to disclose which artist on the public boards, but all will want to know. At this point can you at least say what stage they got to? It was a hell of a big queue of try out artists! What sort of music are they into?

Yeh, spend some time on both the lyrics and song & recording critique areas, reading through as much as you can.
