Brand new to this site.  I'm looking for a friendly place to bounce songs and ideas off of other songwriters and musicians.  I just got here so I'm going to go check out some of your songs and

critiques.   HOW people critique is important to me.   I'm excited to get to know you all.   Don't be shy,  say hi!

Hey Rick, welcome.  

 

I noticed the HOW in how people critique is important to you.  Good, it should be on a critique forum.  A hint to getting better critiques is to add what you are curious about, or would like feedback on when you post.  Simple enough, but I still forget to do that myself.

 

Another thing about critique, I often find myself giving the critique to someones post that I am concerned about for myself.  For example, if I'm thinking about rhyme schemes, I might critique that on another lyric or song.  Being already in my thoughts, it just comes out.  But maybe you were looking for a critique on mixing levels...

Thanks guys!   My goodness its been a busy spring.  I forgot I found this site.  I've been writing and recording like crazy and am anxious to get to know everybody in here.   I'll try to visit more often!   : )
