Hi, I'm Zombee Kat

I'm an amateur singer/songwriter from western Pennsylvania (United States). I absolutley love singing but I have social anxiety issues - so I mostly sing by myself in my basement when I'm drunk. I have a soundcloud account but I just post myself singing my own songs A Capella.

 

I have a wide taste in music but I'm also picky, if that makes sense. I'm a 31 year old female. I have never had any vocal training, in fact in the last 10 years only my husband and a few select friends have heard me sing in person. There was one time I sang karaoke at a friend's wedding but there were only 5-6 people there and I was struggling not to freak out the whole time. 

 

I'm not looking to be the next big star, I just love music as an art form and hold a strong passion for it. I do have to say, most of what I write is pretty depressing/dark. That's just how I do. I'm not a sad person in general, but I use singing/writing as a form of therapy, so the bad shit is what ends up on the page.
