No Longer Performing: Monetizing / Promoting Material to Industry

Hello there! I stopped writing, playing and recording over fifteen years ago due to other aspirations where age doesn't matter. I have a repertoire of about 30 - 40 original songs, many of which have been recorded. I'd like to know if there is a way to possibly monetize some of the works, and perhaps promote some of the material to the motion picture/film industry.  Any advice is greatly appreciated!
