F - F - FF - F - FFF - C

Recommended Posts

Yep strange title. There are songs I hear that I can listen to endlessly. When I eventually get around to looking up the chords they always seem to be F - C - F- C - F - G.

Is there a reason besides my personal taste that these chords represent? Example: It's said E is the rock chord. Minor makes it sad...

I think maybe ... major creating a brighter mood and that's more fun over repeat's time🌞

Like how a rising bass line can create a feeling of positivity.

It's not a complicated progression to learn.

In Nashville they'd say:  4 - 1 - 4 - 1 - 4 - 5.  A typical, if boring, "chord progression," waiting to be imaginatively decorated.
