I've been following a detailed plan to release my first single. I'm everywhere on social media and have my own website. Music production has come to a screeching halt because of pages and pages of things on my to-do list.

I read where you should be trying to attract the attention of blogs so your blog list should be in the triple digits. I could use 100 blogs for triphop but currently my list is only 12. That alone is a huge amount of work. Anyway, I've had my music on TV but gotten out of doing music for sync licensing.

I look forward to the release of my first single September 4th, a good month for downtempo and that's a Friday which is a good day for releases. Now if I could only get more than 5 people to subscribe to my Facebook artist page. It's not due to bad music. That's solid but you can be the judge for yourselves.

Currently using Bandzoogle, Beatport, Horus, Pinterest, SoundCloud, Bandcamp, AudioMack, Sellfy, Twitter, Facebook, Beatstars, Soundee, Buffer, Youtube, and working to get on reddit, Spotify, Deezer, SoundExchange, there are more but I only plant to focus on three: Spotify, YouTube, and one social media account to bring the craziness under control.

Alrighty! You’ve come to the right place! Welcome to Songstuff!

I have a bunch of questions but let’s start with a few:

Do you have a mailing list? If so have you created a welcome sequence and a release sequence? Your mailing list should have an autoresponder.

Is your website Wordpress based? If not, what platform do you use?

Are you using any automation tools? Especially for social media scheduling.

Are you running a blog on your site?

Hi Greg,  Good luck on your release!  That's great that you are following a plan.  It will be good to review the results after release.  Peggy
