So you want busier forums? Awesome, so do we!

 

The good thing is, this is something we can all help with…

 

  1. Be active
    1. Post questions and new topics
    2. Post comments and replies
    3. Start a Songstuff blog about your music, or about something specific like your music production or songwriting, or your favourite music gear or the music you love to listen to
    4. Post photos of your studio or your dream studio, or your instruments, your band photo, your artwork etc.
  2. Share Songstuff based articles, topics, polls, images to
    1. Social Media
    2. Your blog
    3. Other forums
  3. Invite others to join and be active
    1. musicians
    2. songwriters
    3. producers
    4. bands
  4. Welcome new members
    1. Say hello
    2. Encourage activity
    3. Reply constructively
  5. Use “@name” to include specific people in conversation, such as @Mahesh
  6. If you see us post on social media… or you see in a post on our forums that we plan to share content on social media
    1. Follow our accounts
    2. Share
    3. Like
    4. Comment
    5. Use suggested hashtags (if any are suggested)
  7. Encourage people to critique
    1. Encourage them to improve their critique
    2. Encourage constructive critique

That's a great list @john

 

All points super good.  I think #7 is such an important one. It is especially good for those that have excitement and are just beginning to develop the skills of their passion.  Critiquing, which is not always easy to do, is also not always easy to receive. When done in good faith is such a great learning experience.
