Thats more like it.

Remember this one, Rudi?

Played by 'Futureman' (Roy Wooten) from the Flecktones, the ‘drumitar’ is an electronic drum set-up in the shape of a seriously beat-up old guitar allegedly brought back from the future but actually invented and garage-built by the guy in 1985. But it only sounds stupid until you hear the way he plays it. Frightening.

Very talented fellow in a pirate hat – chack out one of his other projects here.

Yes, just about. I have a BF & Flectones album somewhere. Must dig it out for another listen. They certainly are a unique group, by both design & inclination.

Bela himself is the only electric banjo player I know of, and the only one to play jazz (other than Dixieland) too.

I hadnt realised the drumitar was from 'the future'. Maybe we could fetch some other wierd hybrids from our (garages) future. Now, how about a compressor powered bagpipe-accordian? hmmm...!
