Hey

Interesting question. We have a support agreement (post is in software section or recording I think) about questions for a company that supports Sonar etc. might be worth listing the question there.

My only thought is that any signal conditioning in Sonar contains no sound shaping, perhaps the protools default routing passes through something that colors the sound? I'm a Sonar user myself.

Only other suggestion I can think on is how ProTools interfaces to your sound card. could it be routing through an incorrect channel that has some EQ enabled?

that said I'm pretty happy with Sonar.
