The whole song it is an allegory , which is cool. The way I tend to use allegory tends to be contained within a line and is intended to convery a specific feeling or situation, particularly where the relevence of the line isn't directly explained:

I'm a car crash dummy

A crack that flaws the wall

yes in this case I suppose i used metaphors to convey an allegorical meaning...

oh hell it's late and I didn't give the example much thought. Heavy on metaphor, and out of context robbed of much of the allegorical meaning lol

Yes why not.

Some nursery rhymes are allegorical. In the past it was a way of commenting on a sensetive subject. Something that might get you into trouble if you were explicit.

Perhaps we should use allegory to undermine political correctness.
