Decent Engineer/fixer Of Synths

Recommended Posts

Anyone know a decent, experienced (and reasonably priced) elec engineer who knows what they are doing when fixing synths?

I have two needing an overhaul... Roland JX8P and Roland Juno106

Engineer needs to be near/in central Scotland.

Ta,

Mikey

PS - Ironically I graduated as an Electronic Engineer... but I managed to get over it. :D

Hey

I think your best bet is to contact Sound Control. Although I'm sure there are a few that could repair it for you, there's not a huge number that specialise in synths.

Cheers

Yep... chatting to them about something else (a new copy of Sonar! :D )

However... the synths need a specialist as we are talking about replacement parts which are rare-ish.

I'm not in a rush... but it would be great if I got to know someone local.

Ta!

I've got a few screw drivers and a roll of gaffa tape! Is that any use to you? I'm very cheap! I'm in Ireland. :)

practice make perfect ;)

Great!... Roll up! Roll up! Calling all synth owners!

Please lend me your synths so I can 'practice'... Of course you may also want to have a fire extinguisher accompany your synth...

:D
