In terms of production, what's your favourite album?

It's a tough question, but hey...

For me there are of course many candidates. I think I'll suggest Radio Head, Ok Computer though. Just for shear density of ideas. When you listen hard (well not that hard) you can hear a lot of the edits. Som I am sure are intentional, others are more dubious.

Although clicks and smooth fade ins improve quality of the mix, they can interfere with the creative flow.

On a single song, it would have to be "Il voyage en solitaire" from Gérard Manset. I suppose you never heard of him anyway.

This song is pure magic.

Otherwise, for a "normal" album, although there are many candidates, Magic and loss (Lou Reed) comes to mind.
