latency is an issue for live jamming, true and that's not what i'm looking for. it was just to point out that skype isn't doing the trick for me could you recommend some of the collaboration sites?

Sorry, i didn't mean to come off rude latency = delay in transferring music signal. I'm searching on some online music collaboration sites, there seem to be few options actually

skype sucks, latency etc. plus we don't want to jam live, we want to find some good way to make songs together online and perhaps invite additional musicians

hi, i'm new to this forum, but i wanted to ask you something. i have a friend in UK whom i used to make music with. I moved out some time ago and i'd like to continue our music collaboration somehow. what are you using for online music collaboration? i tried dropbox and email, but we usually get stuck with that and the process tends to be rather slow... any ideas?
