Yup that's the rub on Fender style Tremlos. How many springs and in what order does it have hooked up? Also I think some of the problem can come from the nut side (sticking and so forth) and the Machine Heads maybe try a locking nut and or tuners. If all else fails.... Floyd Rose Whammys are pretty Cheap

I bought a bag of 1000 thin celluloid picks off of Ebay for $7.00 I break about 1 a week so that's about 20 years worth. I also buy a 12 pack of Fender thin or mediums once in a while. I've been playing so long the thickness doesn't matter any more but I do prefer the sound of the celluloid to plastic. I used to use Mel Bay picks that had a no slip grit on them (kind of like Dunlop) I would use the grit side on some parts of solos to get a scratchy sound. Jimmy Page used to use them as well. They quit makin them, bummed me out.

Yea the Gibson Logo is certainly not right even on the case nor are the PU/s But, Jeezzzzz for the price? I can't blame Ya. BTW I absolutley LOVE Gary Moore (R.I.P.) AND As far as I know Epiphone/Gibson, Fender and a few others have guitar factories in China anyway. I bought a tele copy (not a fake Fender) but a copy made by TrinityRiver made in China for $80.00. After a few adjustments a bit of work here and there It plays and (what's more important) Sounds Incredible. The PU's are Bad A$$.

Hey John, I personally make all of my mp3 at 192bps (I think) I only upload to 4 or 5 places and that is what is recomended on them all. On SoundCloud I sometimes use a Wav but don't really hear the diff. Maybe I am just getting to freakin Old. On one of the sites I use My mp3's sound really good (I won't mention it here until I find out if it is OK to do so). the others, ehhh soso. This is a great topic. I have the same and worse problem. I am new here so this may be a dumb question but, where can I hear examples of the music you are talking about? I use Samplitude Pro X and my mixes vary in volume frome song to song (not sure why). I have also noticed a big difference in the way (especially) Sound Cloud vary in EQ and playback volume.
