I want Santa to bring me a Protools control surface. Which one i guess depends on how naughty or nice I was this year. Maybe just a chunk of coal. ☺

Hi
Like it. It moved pretty good but did hang or have to slide in a couple of places where the count didn't quit work.
- good rhyming but not always consistent.
Bit of work and you have it.

Hi Rudi,
What a nice post. Johnand the moderators and techies are really the greatest! Love all the different talents and thoughts of the folks that come around that help make it all so comfortable.
Not enough words I can say, (without over-texting) about how good SongStuff, and everyone that's been around, has been for me.
I don't spend as much time, thanking folks, out-loud, as I should and your post brings that point home.
Always been wanting, then not wanting, then wanting to go into the Mosh-pit ... I've stayed out
Enjoy Life,
Peggy

Nice of you to post this Peggy
Hope the next year is productive (& fun) too.
Hi Rudi,
Thanks! Songstuff is such a creative community ... and been so helpful in helping me improve my understanding and writing.
Playing hard at trying to put my lyrics together with music

Hey Peggy,
Sounds great!! I wish you all the success you can find!!
It is always a pleasure to read your lyrics and now to soon be able to hear them will be awesome!!
Best of luck,
Bryan
Thanks Bryan,
Between the systems and studio changes, reworking the lyrics, and trying to get these melodies down..well ... I question my sanity sometimes
but what the heck ... enjoying it.

Welll, I only wish I was that capable and i probably need to let them sit a before another look. I always think though "I'm ready I got it" ..but,. I still have a ways to go and oops ... still needing edits and rewrites. I need to check out some of your workYup I feel that way too.
Most of the times, when I do proof read I tend to change what I'd previously written to make it better.
With songwriting though, I refrain from doing a lot of edits after the song is written but instead, spend a lot of time during the first write. Rewrites are important but I try to be thorough enough to not let rewrites happen. That's just me.

Proof reading is critical. We have the same issue when drafting articles for the site. Or blog posts. Lol
Have you created a blog on Songstuff yet Peggy?
Hi John,
Well not sure how I miss things after 100 proofs, but I do some how..and I know better. Maybe just getting too excited to post my lyrics .. unforced error
No blog yet... (is this post in the wrong place?)

Anyone else proof read, sing, proof read it's ready .... just to post and see edits needed ASAP. Nothing to do with tech. Just seeing it out there or something!! Almost everytime .. Pressure ...... Whewww!!!
