Hey there guys, it's seems to have been an eternity since I last visited this wonderful site. I have had so much work to do with my college course Hospitality Managment a great course that is 100% coursework, so much I have done over the past 2 years for it. I regret to inform you all but I have not done much writing as of late, I have not played my guitar either, its just been gathering dust in the corner of my room and it really is a shame. I feel as if I have lost every last drop of the creative flows I had when I was writing every day, I just cant start a piece and keep going with it. I am in the process of writing a lyric right now but it needs a lot of work before I post a positive draft up on here as it can be my big comeback to this site I just dont seem to have much time to myself lately, I have 2 jobs, a wonderful girlfriend relationship going 8 months strong and I finish college in 2 months. At least when I finish college I will have more breathing space for myself and my writing. Not much more to write to you guys, I just hope you are all well and good. Kind regards to you all, Chr!s x

I love this song. Anyways I now have a nice cup of tea and a lit cigarette so to my day. I finished my work experience as part of my course for college today and now have a 2 week break for the easter holidays. Hmm Easter... I have never been a fan of religion to be honest, it all just seems so fake, I may aswell take up believing that a pepsi bottle is the ruler of the universe because its all the same, actually a pepsi bottle could be a ruler of the earth because of how much the companies are making these days that they could do anything they wanted. Sorry for the off point rambling but thats me... I had an hour of rearanging my bathroom today thanks to my OCD which I dont get that often these days but there you go. Im glad my work experience has finished because on top of my real job and writing it gets a bit overwhelming. And the fact that I was being told to use like 4 different towels to clean a fridge it all seemed a bit stupid so im glad its over. I havent done much writing these few days and I havent played my guitar much either. Oh and today I was woken up with a cheese grater and a spoon being smashed together by my grandfather because I wouldnt get out of bed, I was supposed to be up at 11am but was told I had to be out of bed at 7am... I seriously think he is loosing his marbles slightly but I guess thats excpected seeing as my grandmother has been in hospital for 9 months after suffering a stroke. And an interesting thing I heard today was that if an eldery person doesnt drink enough water then it can seem as if they have dimensia because of not consuming enough water and I noticed that he all he drinks is either tea or beer. The ammount of alchohol that my father and grandfather drink is unbelievable it is shown by how much food is in the house, not a lot, so it's left up to me and my 16 year old brother to pick up the pieces and fend for ourselves and feed oursleves with our own money that we earn. Dont get me wrong I love my father to bits because of all he has done for us over the years (my mother left when we were 5) but I mean if I ask him to buy some groceries or something then its always the same reply " I have no money" Right thats enough for now Good night all Shows how long I havent been on here, this has been sitting as a draft since Easter 2008 LOL. xxx

I normally look at rhythm as the most important part of my lyrics, I try to carry a strong rhythm throughout. But as said before it has to have structure, it has to have a meaning and a story to go with it. Anyone could sit down with a pack of beer and a thesaurus and write a lyric it could sound good because every line rhyme's but it has to have a structure if its going to be an amazing lyric. And also mixing up similar sounding words in a lyric can help for example; See and Sea. Even though it sounds the same it can write 2 very different lines. I have only just started to play guitar and sing, a friend of mine that is a good guitarist and singer told me that he just used to talk to people while playing a song or if by himself then just talk about anything, cause it helps you to get used to it, then start with simple songs. I find it hard to keep the guitar rhythm going, because your trying to sing every note and in some songs your playing a completely different riff with a different key and rhythm, I find it really hard. I say it all depends on how much you practice, like there is a friend of mine that never went to school and he used to stay home and play guitar everyday for 12 hours plus, nowadays he is an amazing guitarist and is just amazing to watch. Practice Makes Perfect ! I have to say that I am completely self-taught and I have just started learning chords and chords really help with your playing and finger placement, I regret that I did'nt learn them sooner. Chris

Lol I seen this instrument ages ago when I was like 10, I remember I used to play a game called Shenmue on the Dreamcast and it had a scene in the game with that instrument Bring back memories lol Chris

Gotta love the beef I have played a 7 string, but it was in a guitar shop for about 10min, I liked it but it felt awkward, would take some getting used to. Chris

Hmm it looks like it has an Ibanez headstock, might just be a small company produced guitar OR someone has customised it for example but an Ibanez neck and head with a fender body and painted it. Really not sure, sorry I couldnt help Chris
