  1. love the sink/plumbers reference ... made me think. Nice post Tom. Love the tune. A Song For You/Donny Hathaway
  2. Travelin' Prayer/Billy Joel - Love this performance ... that is one tight band!
  3. Rosalie/Thin Lizzie Always liked this version better than Segar's
  4. Hey Maggie, Congrats! The songs sound great. Wonderful harmonies and the mando is a great addition. Make sure you hit Florida on your first national tour! And as the first congrat on this site, make sure you save me some backstage tix. You guys really sound awesome. A little Nickel Creek and a little Weepies mixed in. Best of luck. Dave
  5. Summer, Summer - Andy Pratt This is off one of my favorite albums of the 70's. He had a small hit called Avenging Annie that Roger Daltrey covered on one of his solo albums. This guy is so good imho. This is off his self-titled album. His next album, Resolution is on an all time best list by Rolling Stone. For whatever reason, he never made it big.
  6. Since 70's cheese is in play I couldn't resist ... Feelings/Morris Albert
  7. Hooked on Love/Brinsley Schwarz - A triple word Score!! Brinsley Schwarz is one of my favorite bands. They are one of the greatest bands to have never made it. Nick Lowe on Bass. Ian Gomm on guitar. Brinsley Schwarz on the other guitar and Bob Andrews on keys. Brinsley Schwarz and Bob Andrews became part of Graham Parker's band, The Rumour and Nick Lowe became a legend in my mind. Pub rock at its' finest!
  8. America/Simon & Garfunkel On of my all time favorite tunes!
  9. I Want You To Want Me - Cheap Trick My previous band used to play this song at most of our shows. Never could get it to sound quite as good as Cheap Trick though. Truth be told, I am kind of sick of the song, but it works!
  10. Run To The Hills - Iron Maiden The Golden age of MTV
  11. Born To Be Wild - Steppenwolf One of the first rock songs I learned to play on the geetar!
