I've been writing songs a long time. I am 50!!. I wrote my first 'real' song in my early 20's. I have had tremendous success as a songwriter. Unfortunately, I am the only one who has noticed!!

Songwriting has always meant a lot to me. I find it is the thing that I go to when life gets tough. When I'm in love, I have no need to write a song. When I feel god has done me wrong, then he is gonna hear about it!!

I've never participated in a songwriter's forum and have had very little interaction with other writers over the years. So, I guess my goal is to see what I can learn through some honest interaction...and even more honestly... I hope for some validation of my belief that I am a successful songwriter tho the world may never know it!!
