Uh well sadly I don't have much to say for an introduction but I really have a passion for music and writing lyrics, I have a decent singing voice and I'm told my lyrics are good but I lack the musical talent to create a full song. I just want my lyrics out there for people to hear and read.

Hi Jeff

When I started writing my songs were short as well. I would honestly pad them out for length while you find your legs. Not having the talent is another way of saying you're not happy with what you've written. It sounds like you could get to the end of the song if you lowered your standards. It's not a perfect solution but you've got your whole life to develop your skills.
