Hi All

I have been a member of another song writing forum for a little while and it has been incredibly valuable getting, giving and reading feedback on my own, and other people's, songs

So I thought I would join in the fun here!

I have played guitar for over twenty years, mainly playing in cover / function bands

I have always written my own stuff - but I have only recently started taking it seriously

I have a goal of getting a song "picked up" within a year so I want to develop my songwriting and production techniques so I can get some decent demos recorded

I have no ambitions to "make it" as an artists so my ambition is to write for others

My DAW of choice is Cakewalk SONAR and I record and produce everything on a laptop at home

I am in the South East of England (Kent), which is near to London

Not sure what else to add but happy to throw to the floor for questions...
