New To Songwriting

Hi everyone!  My name is Kukuly, I live in Knoxville TN USA and play in my own gypsy jazz band. I hope I can get help about songwriting. I am 27 and while I feel pretty good about my guitar skills playing blues, jazz, swing, etc, I have not yet achived being a songwriter. I mean, I do writte jazz melodies but I am talking about lyrics. I also want to just start a latin rock band and feel like it is maybe too late to make that change, giving that i would want the band to be pretty succesful to be able to travel to Europe. Anyway, thanks for your time!

I'm new to the forum too and also 27!  I'm from new york (close to nyc) and I just starting putting my music up for people to listen to.  Lyrics and arrangement are really tough for me so I try to keep things as minimal as possible.  Please send a link to where I can check out your music.
