Hello guys!

 

I'm just a 19 years-old girl from Spain who loves music. I sing everywhere, everytime since I can remember and I can't help it haha. So this is going to be some kind of rehab for me that is going to get even worse — I hope! It's beautiful to know some people with a passion in common and share our goals, our expectations, even our doubts or fears. Just like a big party. I believe that everyone has a place in this world, a moment to do the things we love, no competitions, it's already yours, you only have to figure it out, so I thought this might be my path

 

Well, I don't really know what I'm saying, just typing random stuff haha (sorry for the mistakes I may have). Maybe I should introduce myself a bit more, so here I go.

I have been studying piano for years, but I didn't take lessons since last year. At the same time I started to study Harmony and WOW it is AWESOME. I'm sure that some of you know about this and love it as much as I do. I love making songs. I've been in rock bands for years but nothing lasted at the end for several reasons, so finally I decided to drive my life and do things on my own. I'm too curious about almost everything, so I have been learning how to record and edit... But I'm just a n00b yet, haha, it's like I have just started, but it's funny as hell If some of you are interested in musical production and knows about it, I wouldn't mind to be your pupil and give you some coffe every single hour, hahaha.

 

I have some projects in mind right now and I can't wait to work on them. Here I'm looking for diferent points of view about music and about everything, because that's what makes your world bigger, it gives you something to tell. You know, music is not only sound

Welcome to Songstuff, good to meet you

I like you sing pretty well everywhere. I sang in work, walking down the street, shopping. A full time singing addict. Do I get strange looks? Sure, sometimes, but mostly I get smiles. My friends initially were a bit embarrassed, but often with a little persuasion they would join in.

I just remembered myself and a friend following a female friend the pair of us singing away, me with a guitar, when I was 18/19. A close female friend was going shopping for her weekly food shop. She couldn't afford a music player at the time, so we walked 3 paces behind the whole way, the 2 miles to the shops, followed her around the shop while she shopped, even while she ran her food through the till and back home again. Loads of people smiled and enjoyed it. So did she. She couldn't stop laughing. It wasn't an isolated incident. Usually I don't have a guitar with me!

I think I should have a walk around here and see what's happening. I have already listened to some songs that musicians here have done and I think there's a pretty good level, I like it! And congratulations for having such a good forum.

 

Hey, John, that's a wonderful story, hahaha. I was laughing while reading. I understand you too much! I have a funny story too which is I met who's my current boyfriend because of that. I was singing everywhere and his band told me to try with them because they were looking for a singer, soooo here we are. Almost three years together hahaha. That's why I can say singing everywhere is the best thing you can do!! You don't know what's going to happen but it's going to be awesome (or at least you had fun!)
