There been three women in my life I really cared about

 My mother and my sister and my daughter who can’t stand me now

 If she can hear me talking now I’m sorry for my walking out

I’m sorry I went walkabouts that’s why I’m here to talk it out

Tat’s why I want to let you know I’m sorry that I let you go

 I got a lorry full of sorry but it aint enough I know

 To ever take away of break away or shake away

 our yesterdays there here to stay but that don’t change our destiny

 to be together I’m your father don’t deserve it

I aint perfect but I’m working at improvement that is certain

 and I’m sorry for deserting all those constant years of hurting

 through my actions lead to losing the most precious gift for choosing

 that is you  and I choose to be through with the pain

 let the truth set me free in this booth like a chain

 its unleashed from its cage ima a beast full of rage

 so are you and its time that we reach for a change

 or be through with each other right not see each other’s side

 not take the time to step aside and that’s the bottom line

 and so I’m sorry for the hurt and pain I put you through

 I’m hoping you aint hurting now but this I know is never true
