Paper and pen

Seems like I’ve done it again

I’ve told you how but not when

Now I’ve got to pick up my pen

When the voice inside comes out astray

And feelings get lost along the way

I seem to write better than I say

I’m trying not to loose you

Doing my best to get through

With a heart that’s forever blue

Maybe I ask too much

And words come out double Dutch

But I just need your touch

Take these words as your own

Let our sins atone

Hold me as we walk into the unknown

My loneliness is wearing thin

I was drowning till you taught me to swim

With you I can always win
