Hey gang

I thought it would be nice to post up a link to one of your songs? It would be good to get a feel for the kind of songwriters you are?

I am busy recording songs for an EP in April. Meanwhile here is Awaken:

Cheers

Hey John, this is my first song to be released as a single (which you know, but others might not). It's called 'Heroes' and I had posted the work in progress on here for critique. Cheers

I guess my short intro-song I had planned to go on a CD would be a good start.

Turn Me On

V1
Let me entertain you.
Drop what's going on.
Redirect attention.
There's something new going on.

Turn me on. Turn me on.

I promise not to waste your time.
I promise that I'll waste your time.
I promise not to waste your time.

V2
How will I amaze you?
What'll be the allure?
Will I then contain you?
And keep you ... coming back for more.

Turn me on. Turn me on.

I promise not to waste your time.
I promise that I'll waste your time.
I promise not to waste your time.

I like to experiment, try different things, so it’s not easy to pick something typical.  Typical for me is vocals only and I’m not keen on posting that here.  I have a few with me singing and playing guitar, but lately more focused on collaborations with musicians.  Writing style varies, too....what to do, what to do....?

Maybe this sums me up... kicking the arse out of the same thing for as long as I can... ringing chords...twiddling over...and playing with sounds/arrangement/dynamics to help milk it.

I dunno, Dek.  I think that one's pretty modest with reverb, and not really representative of your work. <ducking>  ;)

No need to duck. Thank you for the excuse to post another track!

I wrote this song 10 years ago when I was 17. It's my favorite song on my debut album [Track 2], and my oldest song I play in Kono!

Evolution of my song featured in: "Progression of a Song: The Swan & the Ram"
