It's been years since I was last on the forum, so I'll drop by, stick my head through the door and yell out, "G'day, y'all."

 

What have I been up to during my absence? Well, musically, nothing. Zip. Nata. Zero.

 

I woke up one morning, packed awy my three guitars, two amps and the keyboard and haven't even listened to music (of my choice) since then. I told my wife and friends, "... the fire went out!"

 

That's about it. The fire went out.

 

I can't say it's burning again, but there is a spark. I might even unpack a guitar or two in a month or so, Maybe.

 

Or quite possibly I'll get just concentrate on writing lyrics. Not sure yet, and don't want to smother the spark.

 

To all those to whom I vanished, my humble apologies.

 

Must go, I have to blow on the embers...

Thanks girls, err umm.. Ladies...

 

Just to get my juices flowing, I've challenged myself to write a lyric a day. Obviously not all will be great, but the idea is to get the creativity flowing once more. I've posted the first couple, and started another already today (08:38 as I type) so that will be up later on.

 

Onward and upward, as they say.
