Hello from Bittersweet Relief

Recommended Posts

Hello,

My name is Devin, I have a music project named Bittersweet Relief, mostly a solo thing but with input begrudgingly from family and friends that are typically sick of hearing my songs before I’m even done with them. Joined this forum hoping to connect with other musicians and learn. It’s really just a passion hobby for me, but I would like to continue to learn and grow in all facets.

The name Bittersweet Relief is basically what I thought of when thinking about my songwriting process(on some songs), I feel like it can be a cathartic process that brings some relief from confronting emotion through music. But it is bittersweet because sometimes that journey can involve addressing or stirring up some heavy stuff that is good to address but also can be tough to face. It is also a bittersweet relief when the song is done, it is cool to see it done and that you made it to the end but it is also sad to see it go…..
