Hi All,

This is my first posting. I am very new to all this.

I live in North London and only started writing songs about a year ago. I have dozens of songs in all styles and genres. You can hear three songs (shortened versions) on the folowing page

http://www.jukeboxalive.com/cgibin/artists...252037&show=raw

The recordings were done with a £10 microphone straight to PC. If you listen carefully you can hear the traffic outside my bedroom (where they were recorded). I am especially interested in people's views on the song called On Your Way To Hell.

As you can see from the recordings I have two major obstacles; I cannot sing and I cannot play guitar (I only learned to play last year and now know about six chords).

If any of you have any tips on getting someone interested in singing my stuff, or if you have any comments on my sonwriting skills (or lack of them) I would be very grateful to hear them.

I just wanted to say what a wealth of talent there is on the site. I have been listening to a lot of other artists recordings and they are of a very high standard.

Thanks again and look forward to posting more at a later date.

Regards

Tommy the Mock

Hi Tommy

Welcome to Songstuff! :)

We're a pretty friendly bunch. Reviews tend to be open, honest and constructive, which is both a good thing and not something most music boards are known for. Have a read at the posts and reviews of others and you'll see what I mean. Getting good feedback and advice is the best way to improve, hopefully you'll get what you need.

Cheers

John.

Thanks for all your replies.

I will post the songs on the review page for a bit of feedback.

Very impressed with the number of views, replies etc. I have looked at other websites and they don't get a fraction of the response.

Hopefully get to know more of you as time goes on.

Kind Regards
