A feeling so right

Yet I’m told that its all wrong

A growing urge so strong inside

I must not act upon

Denial of emotion

withholding of all love

Such insane a notion

I feel like giving up

Hid behind a mask

A veil of subtle lies

A truth so truly shocking

Its sure to be despised

Step right up to the line

Push it to the edge

Tempting all the boundaries

Step back, then try it again

Would the consequence

Outweigh the relief

When you no longer

Your heart deceive.
