Please forgive me.. i've been spidering round this site without introducing myself because i had no idea how to! Well i'm 31 years old, i have 3 beautiful children, 3 cats and a dog. I write poetry (or words as i say) but was told i should write lyrics by someone i know who has their own band. Great compliment! They're currently putting music to something i wrote about 3 years ago. I like Iron Maiden, Dream Theater, Led Zeppelin, Jethro Tull and many more. I'm here to explore the art of lyric writing and to see if i can actually write what would be considered as lyrics not poetry.

I'll probably be the quiet one you barely know is there! (bit shy) Bye for now!

Hey

No need to apologise. :) Glad to have you aboard.

As well as the lyrics board there is also a poetry board. It'd be nice to read some of your poems too!

An old(ish ;) ) rocker eh? I like Zep and Tull myself, though I have a pretty broad musical taste.
