Writing An Instrumental

I check Songstuff as often as I can, I got a new job and at the weekends I'm working with a luthier, I'm building my own guitar!!! I'll post some pics soon, right now it's just a piece of wood...

The way you put it, "instrumentals with lyrics", in my mind anyway, could be another way to approach writing.

Sounds like a great idea! Perhaps a good way to approach a song if you're having trouble with either a lyric, or the melody!

Instrumentals are pretty much all I write on my own. With friends it's a different story.

But I'm really excited about making a few of my own instrumental albums. I'm really getting into bands like that..... and I don't care if most people expect lyrics. I make good music for myself. If someone else likes it, cool.
