Newbie, Hello

Hi, my names Cara, I joined this forum as being someone who loves music and would like to write my own thought I might find a little bit of help here. I love singing but lack confidence to sing in front of people, I have just bought a guitar and am just learning to play (thought it might help with my songwriting a bit, and I've always wanted to play the guitar), I also have a drum kit which when I find somewhere to put it, I will also learn to play that properly. My sister plays the keyboard so I'm leaving that one to her . I have just started to write lyrics so any advice/pointers on this would be greatly appreciated.
