Challenge Board too, helps stir the imagination and write to a set of parameters. Anyway, welcome and see you around the boards. Peggy

    Well then, join in! haha. While you look around, check out the critique boards (you'll need 10 posts to start a lyric topic). There are also tons of articles on writing songs and lyrics, etc. We also have the lyric challenges and collaboration areas. If your into social networking and marketing, we have a Music Marketing and Promotion club you might want to check out, too.     Hi Isaiah, Welcome to SongStuff! Good luck on your EP. The Introduction board really isn't a feedback area for songs. A better place would be in Critique: Songs board or the Rap Hip hop board. If you're looking for critque you will need 10 posts to start a topic. Just generally feedback we have the Discussions: Music Lounge board. Peggy

    I would do calculations just for personal grins. Definitely not scientific. I did them in commute traffic to pass the time (head games) 30 minute timeframes on a couple of radio stations, subtracting out commercials, news updates, psa's and DJ setup for song. then how many songs were being played which gave me song length. Averaged out 3:38. I could easily have said 3:30 and probably should have...
