I believe it is the guidelines. They are listed on the song critique page. This is part of the guidelines: Have you made less than 10 posts? To post your work for critique you must have made more than 10 posts

Hi Polly, Welcome to SongStuff community! Nice to have you join in with us. We aren't organized much by genre. The critique section gives posting guidelines and suggestions for new lyric, songs, etc. topics. Lots of folks use SoundCloud, etc. it gives a level of confidence over that of just a link or uploaded file. Have fun and see you around the boards! Peggy

I use ProTools. Started with it and stayed with it. It's alittle complex but sticking with it.

And use the topic tags to id genre what your looking for etc. When you go into a board, it will have specs on how to use the board..rules and all.

Boards aren't broken down into genre. For critiques and feedback there's the Critique board then a breakdown for lyrics, songs, etc. The Hip hop and rap board stands alone in genre. To showcase your work there's the Showcase area. But it's pretty easy getting around for what you want to do.
