  3. Can u continue this game on your own at all? Haha Got a few to lead off from this
  4. Band of Gold - Freda Payne Started at the beginning to read through, "don't do it" I heard a voice say so I skipped 140 pages lol
  5. Hey Uphere, are you from down there? (chuckle) Welcome to the place we both need lol. I've started a blog on just this kind of subject - the learning curve of DAW's etc. I hope you can add some experience there if you would as and when please. Oh, when you've time could you finish your profile page, about me etc - helps enormously (you'll see soon why when you see the number of profile visits adding up lol)
  6. Hey James, nice to meet you and welcome. Is your music anywhere else please? Any other sites as there's nothing on your homepage. Don't cry for me but I can't get FB, YT etc etc. Would like to check you out so I can know how to help out if asked.
  7. Hi Caitlyn, that's how I came here too. Enjoy yourself making new friends and learning lots of new things
  8. Hey Amadeus, welcome to SongStuff. You'll fit in great here. Take the time to look around and get involved in the community, make some friends
  9. Hi Jefferson, welcome. No idea where you are but it sounds like a little piece of Ireland What an interesting job that must be ....... until maybe the 999th reconstruction ? I'd be brave and go for the bull, give the chicks etc a day off from your torturing lol.
  10. Hey Chris. Welcome. 2 things you can do to begin with is a) post your lyrics in the lyric critique area for other members to take a look and advise and post your finished song in the recording section again for members to give their opinion. You should also take some time to go through the topics that relate to your current problem (do a quick search) and also, go hang out in the lounge and get to know a few people. There's a wealth of resources here just for someone like you both in articles and people that will help. Just dig around a bit at first, get into the community and make some friends.
  11. Age ain't nothing but a number Tom, like ........... 16, lol Worcestershire, I had a mate from there when I was your age, the land that must now be called for PC reasons, "the opposite of white country" - lol. Well your being here is a good decision and a good choice too - so welcome. Whichever part of songwriting you feel weak in (maybe it's everything as you don't say), there's an abundance of articles to help you through the blogs, community articles and the specific forums, so spend the time to search and read up so you can join in. Are you in a band? Are you a soloist? What have you done to promote yourself up to now? - just a few questions that maybe you can answer in your "About Me" part of your profile. Enjoy
  12. Welcome Michael, have a good look around the forums & if you have any questions, just ask.
  13. Hi Stu, ditto as Tom. Post your sounds like you say. Go into the collaborators section and post your request there. Check out the musicians lounge to pick up some tips and join in the chats. This place really is the best online resource for music and songwriters etc.
  14. Your welcome, again haha
  15. Hey Resherle, welcome. I don't play an instrument and sooooo wish I did. So my advice to you is keep on with the guitar and if you have time, learn the piano. If you take some time to read stuff on here, hopefully you'll get & understand the need for a good songwriter to understand music. If you both understand and play music, wow. Then you'll be able to apply all that to writing lyrics.
  16. You're talking about me again aren't you Tom? LOL. Good to meet you GJ. Don't believe any of the rumours, just stick to the foolish truth haha.
  17. Think you'll fit in just fine then here - welcome
  18. Black Hank ? Typo I guess John lol. Welcome Cho. What experience have you? Maybe would be good to complete your profile or write a little "About Me" on your profile page. Let people get an idea of what you like etc. You only need to see how many profile views you've got already to realise how useful your profile details are to the board and members.
