Thats right. no more flip flops. We are no longer allowed to wear flip flops (or any kind of sandal) at work anymore. In addition to that, we must have a seperate pair of shoes which we wear ONLY inside the building. WHAT THE Fu@%!!!!!! Ok. I LIVE IN THONG FLIP FLOPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love Deb and Jeff but this is rediculous. Its not like we have the most upstanding dress code and yet now we cant wear damn sandals in 90 degree weather? Yes, I seriously am pissed off over flip flops..... so yea, I spent my morning driving almost an hour (then another hour back home) to go buy a new pair of sneakers which I can only wear at work.... I miss my flip flops already

why is it that no matter how hard some people try, theyre never good enough? I try so hard, I work my ass off all week. I even stayed more than 3 hours overtime on friday to get an order out. Every day I go above and beyond and yet still Im not worthy of anyones respect. I try so hard to prove myself but then I have these people who spend THIER time trying to sabatage me. Then. the man I love dosnt even respect me. Tells me he will give me anything I ask for, Do anything I ask. All I asked was that he not do anymore work on our house untill I get there so that we can do it together. what does he do all day? works on the house, comes back late at night, and i ask him why he did it and he said he couldnt just sit there all day doing nothing. so i ask. what about spending time with me? but no, im not good enough he had to not only leave me home alone all day, but while doing so, do something that i had asked earlier and he agreed NOT TO DO!!! im not worthy of anyones respect aparently. not the people i work so hard to help. god if you had any idea how much i endured with this guy. how much pain i took for him, and this is what i get, he cant even respect a simple wish of mine. why should I bother to try when im never going to be good enough???

well. I tried getting to sleep , but to no avail, so I figured Id come back online for a bit. Its been a long day. Rough morning at work. what good is any system if people dont follow it? I had a perfect set up for the line at work but it wasnt working.. why? people dont know how to f-ing read? this shelf that sais for FIRST TEST, is where you put things for FIRST TEST.... just like the one that sais FINAL TEST is for final test. ERROR REPAIRS FIRST.. for errors from first test that need to be repaired.... ERRORS REPAIRS FINAL for errors fron final that need to be repaired.. FOR HOODING... do I really need to explain? and for christ sakes BAGGING AND COMPLETE.. .. but yet.. "well people dont understand where to put things".... CAN THEY READ? ?? Honestly what kind of stupid ass workers do we have that they cant understand that simple setup.. but hey whatever works for you iditots.. who cares if cables that havnt even been tested get hooded and bagged? its not like MY name is the one thats going on the order or anything *rolls eyes* GRRR. Yea Im just a bit frustrated, not to mention im having to make whole new logging systems andmake sure they work, and do this and do that and a little of THAT as well. But hey.. its not like I dont already work my ass off or anything. Just a little recognition would be nice, instead all i get is crap from people cause im not passing shit.. well Fu@%, its not MY fault the cables they send to testing are crap. Im not the one who built them. I wouldnt be caught dead doing the crap they do, never mind putting my name on it and sending it up. really, its amazing the shit they concider acceptable. but really, I stand up and run around 8-10 hours, go not the extra mile, but the extra 100 miles to make sure the orders get out and not only that, but that they are good quality so that we keep our customers.. especially the ones I deal with since they bring in the big bucks. Do you realize how much pressure there is knowing that youre dealing with an order worth $100,000. I do it on a daily basis. If I screw up, its not a good thing. And with all that, all I even want is a simple "thank you". Is that too much to ask for?

Well, I finally did it, Made meself a blog here... Wasnt going to but John kept nagging me . So I guess next stop is a gallery.. oh the agony. So Anyways, well.. I dunno, I cant promise I'll be writing regularly but Ill try. For those who dont know I work full time in quality control at a company that manufactures communications cables for goverment and industry. Yes, thats right boys, you can feel safe knowing that I inspect and test the cables that go to the department of defence But seriously, we deal with big names (that really being one of them) our customers also include all aspects of the military, weve even built orders for area 51. A movie that came out recently, deja vu, the producers of that movie bought cables from us. SC Johnson, one of the biggest manufacturers of household products in the US, yep, they buy from us. So yea, thats my job, I inspect and test the cables and let me tell you, its quite a job, running back and fourth all day, though that will soon change, the company is expanding and an addition has been built which we will be moving into shortly. No more running back and fourth because QC will finally be contained in the QC department! I know what a novel idea, well novel or not, it hasnt been entirely possible, QC was just too small of a space for us all to fit, and I usualy ended up being the one to relocate and do the testing on the assembly line (if thats what you really want to call it lmao) so, since that area was too small (yes we really needed this addition which we are moving into this week, thank god) so theres first text and second text, and we had two different testers (the machines we plug the cables into after inspected to see that they actually WORK. well first test was on the line, but then any additional work on the cables (hooding, labeling, ect..) was done in another room, where the second test was performed (also known as first and final test) So here I am, first test some cables, lug them across the damn building to second test where they will be finished, test the cables there, run back to the line, and in times of dire need to get an order out which is about every day, I am litterally RUNNING. But the running didnt bother me so much the people do however. one thing I cant stand. and really there is just one big rule I have.. and I dont believe its too much to ask for since its a rule in the company anyways, DONT TOUCH MY PILES!!!!! People just take whatever they want from wherever they want, put whatever they want wherever they want, well WTF. I have a system... these cables are tested, these are not, these are good, these are bad, these are counted/logged, these are not. I have a designated area for them to put cables and take cables from... why can they not stick to that? if they put a cable thats bad in a pile of my tested good cables.. IM THE ONE WHO IT COMES DOWN ON. MY NAME IS ON THE DAMN ORDER! NOT THIERS. SO yea, I cant wait for the new QC area.. assemblers will not be allowed into the QC department ... so yea anyways, thats my job....hope you liked the rant

hey Alistair, try instead of adding the entire code, just this. and you can put it anywhere you want pretty much. wherever in your page you want it to appear. if youre still having problems let john or myself know.

Its not uncommon for me at all to go even six months without playing so It wouldnt be anything that earth shattering for me. Could always pick up my trumpet or mess around on the keyboard if I felt the need to make some music.

Im all over the place, sometimes a line will just come to me and ill try to build something around it. sometimes just I have an idea I build around. At other times I actually do like to write from a title alone. Cant say Ive ever written lyrics from a melody yet, but maybe sometime in the future I could try it. I dont normally plan them, just keep writing and see what happens. most of the time use the standard v1 chorus v2 chorus bridge chorus forum but at times have altered the form a bit. Normally after ive written something I dont do alot of any editing at all. As for measuring how good they are well sometimes I read over something of mine and Ill like it and think "ok thats not too bad" then maybe after a few days or even weeks I can go back and I might by then read it and think, no this is crap. So if I still like it after a few months then thats my way of judging myself if I think its any good.

maybe so, but when will this all end? in a few years what, If I buy a CD or movie, will it be illegal to let others listen to it, or watch it with me? Lend it out? Will each person then have to pay to be able to listen or watch? I understand that artist have rights, but so do the consumers. AND myspace being a 3rd party here, I feel its very unfair to hold them accountable for the actions of those consumers, as I would say in respect to hold any site or organization accountable for its members actions. To a point, it just really makes no more sence than in the fact, as I said. They just want the money......

Nothing is being given away. The user already had the video. how they got it should not be something myspace should have worry about. If anything, they should be going after whom ever is distributing the copyrighted material. For all myspace knows, the user could have purchaced it. Would it not then be the users right to upload it for view on his site? If of course, they are not redistributing, selling, or altering the product. This isnt about copyright infringment, its about myspace has the money, and they need an excuse to get it.

Thats a bunch of BS... if anything, THEY should be HAPPY about all the FREE ADVERTISEMENT and EXPOSURE they are recieving from this activity.

but shouldnt that problem have been resolved once the disk was removed? even after the programs where uninstalled, and even a system restore was done? well anyways, going to go check out the link in the next post. thanks for the reply, ill let ya know if i get anywhere EDIT: yea um, I talked to thier "support" before i even bought the thing and they said it would work. I dont know. I pretty much already have given up anyways, its just not worth the hastle for me anymore. and the computer im getting will probably be better. and from what ive heard after having this issue... and others.. DELL SUCKS so I suppose its for the best but ill still look into the problem
