  1. I think if you just use the amp, then a Valve amp would give you better tone. If you use enhancements (foot pedals) then a transistor amp would be more suitable. With the introduction of amp modeling hardware, who can tell the difference now?

  2. Hmmm I like that Don't Panic, that's always been on my list to cover at one time or another. Hmm. We could do a Cover Contest -I could whip up a backing track (a few different versions even) for vocalists without too muc trouble... Dunno how that would work out with copyrights etc, but it could be fun :)

    Read Me First! :)

  3. :) Want to help promote songstuff? Design and print up a few A4 posters to put up in appropriate places! :Like your local music shop, gig dressing rooms etc. As long as it's acceptable to the owners, managers of the premises. Feel free in your design, and post it here for others to download and repost as well!

    Just ensure that it bears the legend;

    Songstuff.com

    The FREE music resource

    and anything else you want to stick on there!

    Here's one I knocked up.

    Feel free to use it or alter it anyhow!

    Thanks.

  4. That's a sexy Telecaster. I only have a shitty Squire Tele, but some day I'd like something similar to that one.

    I bought one like that! Swapped it for my Antoria Les Paul. Not every Fender guitar is a good one! Nothing wrong with a Squire!

  5. A friend of mine once built his own. He used a piece of 3" x 2" timber from his shed. It was left over from a window frame his dad had made. It was some kind of hardwood, but not too sure what? Worked fine! I would suggest a trip to a timber yard or DIY shop for an offcut!

    Just found this! Might be useful!
