"i Wish"

This is the first two verses to a rap song im working on. Each verse is 16 bars long and the title of the song is I Wish.

 

Verse One

 

I wish the children of the world were just all proper fed

I wish the sickly and the homeless had a proper bed

I wish the heartless and the lonely had someone to love

I wish some people didn’t waste their lives for Petty drugs

I wish the evil and the blackness didn’t step inside

Of the body of somebody talking Suicide

I wish those people didn’t listen to the devil speaking

And went to find the kind of help that they desperately seeking

Although they’re body weakened and their mind a wreck

It doesn’t mean they need to kill em self to be at rest

I wish they understood that there is a better way

To cleanse your body and your spirit and get rid of pain

I don’t forget it pains a menace but not here to stay

It can vanish and diminish and then go away

At any minute come and get it world is full of love

All you gotta do is go outside and you can find you some

 

Verse Two

 

I wish the killers did the killing go and kill em selves

Cause all the blood that they be spilling wouldn’t spill itself

I wish the wealthy and the greedy try and spread the wealth

To all the hungry and the needy who can’t help em selves

I wish the people with the power would just step aside

And let the people with no power come and step inside

Cause every hour on the hour people disappear

Just like a flower they devoured and don’t reappear

The world is full of fear I wish the pain would stop

For all the people living dirty wish the rain would drop

Although I’m thirty water murky so it’s hard to see

Although it hurt me nothing perfect so it hard to breath

We need to take a stand to make a change and rage against

All the evil in this world if we too stand a chance

I sit her wishing and just praying for a brighter day

I got a vision I envision that we find the way
